Here are four more videos from our Thursday (4/14) rehearsal. A bunch of us went into school today to work on the set, start setting up the pit, and check out the amazing costumes, which have arrived. There’s still a lot to be done, so if you are interested in helping please swing by school between 9:00 and 3:00. I can’t believe that a week from now we’ll have finished our last rehearsal and will be gearing up for opening night. Please take the time to study this footage – the time spent preparing mentally for the coming week will not be wasted. The password is… well, you know it by now.

OOTI Videos – Round 3
Here is the footage from the ‘closeup’ run-through at the end of Thursday’s rehearsal. The battery started to die so the last two clips are only a few minutes long. I’m still working on getting the full run from that night online as well. Feel free to leave comments on the videos and on this thread as well. I’ve attached a digital version of the poster if anyone is interested in making an event for social networking.
Tickets are on sale! You can call Mrs. Statham at 966-5070 ext. 405 to reserve the best seats. Finally, I’ve linked up a bonus clip of Sir Ian McKellen (aka Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings) explaining the art of acting. It’s good advice, to say the least. The password for the videos is: ooti2011
Anything Goes… on Broadway
There’s a revival of ‘Anything Goes‘ running now on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Tickets are available through the show’s website and various ticketing websites. This version is different than our 2010 production, but it includes many of the same characters and iconic Cole Porter songs. Check out this highlight video (via playbill.com):
