I’m excited to announce that this year’s musical is Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella! We had more than 50 students at the informational meeting on Tuesday, and many more have asked for information throughout the week. This is not the Disney version that some of you may be familiar with, so here is a playlist of a production similar to the version we’ll be doing:
Open Call auditions are on Monday (11/28) and Tuesday (11/29) from 3:00-5:00. Callbacks are Wednesday (11/30).
If you are preparing an ensemble audition (meaning you don’t want to be considered for a lead role) then please prepare “Ten Minutes Ago” to sing in a group at your audition:
If you are auditioning for one of the six female roles, please prepare “My Own Little Corner” and “Stepsisters’ Lament:”
If you are auditioning for one of the three male roles, please prepare “Do I Love You…?” and “10 Minutes Ago.” Yes, the ensemble audition is also singing “10 Minutes Ago,” but you will sing it by yourself in your principal audition:
